He is Risen!
In the summer of 1992, I was blessed to be able to spend an afternoon in the Musee D'Orsay in Paris, France. Whilst upstairs, I turned the corner and came face to face with what is now my all time favorite painting, "Le disciples Pierre et Jean courant au sépulcre le matin de la Résurrection" By Eugène Burnand (1850-1921)
"The disciples Peter and John running to the sepulcher the morning of the Resurrection" oil on canvas
Breathtaking!
But what is even more incredible than the bewilderment captured by the artist on the faces of Peter and John....
Jesus suffered and died for YOU..and for ME!
May God bless you and your loved ones as we celebrate His resurrection!!!
He is Risen, Indeed!!!
Have a blessed Easter,

But you are right...the really amazing thing is our God's love for us, and His son's love for us!
Happy Easter!
Thank you so much for posting this, in all the fuss about bunnies and eggs, the true meaning often gets lost, especially in blogland.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
